Dunchurch Patios
Patio installation across Dunchurch and the surrounding area
Dunchurch and the villages around it are where we do most of our work. We lay patios, build garden walls, put up timber fencing, and fit new lawns, and we’ve been doing it long enough to know what lasts and what doesn’t in this part of Warwickshire.
Materials we work with
We’re straightforward about what we use. No shortcuts on the base, no cheap grout, no rushing the levels.
- Porcelain tiles, including large-format slabs
- Indian sandstone
- Limestone paving
- Concrete flagstones
- Pedestal-mounted raised paving systems for decked or roof terrace builds
- Artificial grass and natural turf
- Timber fencing and garden walling
When a customer near Tollbar End asked us about a raised terrace over an uneven base, we specified a pedestal-mounted raised paving system rather than a full mortar build. It saved them a significant amount and gave a cleaner finish.
What a failing patio actually does to your garden
When a patio is laid poorly or simply left too long, the knock-on effects go further than a few cracked slabs. Honestly, some of the gardens we walk into have been suffering for years without the owner realising the patio is the root of it.
- Standing water pools against the house, raising damp risk at the wall base
- Poorly graded slabs push water toward flower beds, waterlogging plant roots
- Gaps in jointing let weeds establish and slowly lift the surface further
- Sunken edges create trip hazards that worsen through winter frost cycles
- Blocked or absent drainage channels cause soil erosion across the wider garden
