Southam Patios
Southam Patios
A garden that’s more mud than anything else. That’s usually why people call us.
We’re based in Southam and we install patios, paths, fencing, and lawns across Warwickshire. Neat work, proper drainage, materials that last. We’ve laid everything from small back-garden slabs to full outdoor spaces on new-builds out at Hathaway Grange.
What we do
- Porcelain tiled patios
- Indian sandstone and natural stone paving
- Garden paths and paved areas
- Concrete flagstone installations
- New walling and kerb edging
- Timber and close-board fencing
- Artificial grass and turfed lawns
Porcelain or sandstone, what’s the difference
Two very different animals. Porcelain is dense, frost-resistant, and almost zero maintenance, though it needs a solid full-bed mortar base and the grout joints have to be right or you’ll get movement. Natural Indian sandstone breathes differently, it’s more forgiving on an uneven sub-base, and it weathers into the garden rather than sitting on top of it. But it does need sealing and occasional re-jointing. We use permeable jointing compound resin-bound systems on both where drainage is a concern, which around here in clay-heavy Warwickshire soil it usually is.
Honestly, both look great once they’re down. The choice mostly comes down to the garden, not a brochure.
How we work
We measure up, price it properly, and get the groundwork right before anything goes down. No cut corners on the sub-base. No disappearing once the deposit’s paid. And we tidy up behind ourselves, which apparently still surprises people.
We cover Southam and the surrounding areas in CV33 and nearby postcodes. Most of our work comes through word of mouth from neighbours who’ve seen a job we’ve done down the road.
