One job we get asked about a lot is resin bound laid straight over old concrete. Done right, with proper prep and a sound base, it holds well and looks clean for years. Done wrong, it lifts within eighteen months. We do it right.

Clay soil and freeze-thaw winters are not kind to surfaces around here. However, a properly built-up sub-base with decent drainage takes most of that out of the equation. Drainage is never the glamorous part of the job, but it is usually the part that decides whether your new drive still looks good in five years.

Driveways either last or they don’t. That is mostly down to what is underneath.
