What we do

Across Chester, Frodsham, and the Tarporley corridor, most of the driveway work we pick up falls into two camps: full installations from scratch, and repairs that previous contractors left half-finished. We handle both properly.

Our installations cover the full range of surface types:

• Block paving, including permeable block systems
• Resin bound surfacing, using UV-stable aggregate mixes
• Tarmac and asphalt, open-graded or dense-bound
• Pattern imprinted concrete
• Gravel and self-binding gravel

Drainage, kerbing and groundworks

Surface choice gets most of the attention, but the groundworks underneath it are what determine how long a driveway actually lasts. We set kerbing and edging to proper falls, and on drives where surface water is a genuine issue (which is most of them around here after a wet winter), we install ACO drainage channels across the drive entrance to intercept runoff before it reaches the threshold.

Soakaways, channel drainage, and linear drains are all within our scope. Get that right and the surface above it looks after itself.

Patios, paths and boundary work

It is not all driveways. A decent-sized part of what we do now is outdoor space work more broadly. Patio surfacing in porcelain, natural stone, or concrete flags. Pathways, steps, and edging to tie areas together. We also take on fencing, garden walling in block or natural stone, and lawn installation, whether that is turf laid over prepared sub-base or a full topsoil and seed programme. Good to get it all done in one go, to be honest, rather than having separate contractors tripping over each other.

Repairs and resurfacing

Pothole repairs, crack filling, resin or tarmac overlays, and full driveway resealing are all work we carry out regularly across the CH3 postcode area and beyond. Sometimes a full resurface is the answer; however, a targeted repair done correctly will add years to an existing surface at a fraction of the cost.
