How we work

Every job starts with a proper look at the site. We measure twice, we price straight, and we tell you what is involved before a single block gets laid. That matters more than people realise (especially when groundwork conditions turn out to be awkward, which they often do around the CT19 and CT20 postcodes).

We have been converting garages for years. Done well, it adds real usable space to a house without the cost of a full extension. Done badly, you end up with a damp, cold room that nobody wants to sit in. We do it right.

We work regularly around the Harbour area, out towards Cheriton, and up around Caesar’s Camp. The ground conditions vary. Clay patches, chalk, old rubble backfill. We know what to expect and we plan for it.

Materials and standards

We work with facing brick, dense concrete block, sand and cement render, and modern insulated build systems. We do not cut corners on foundations or structural work. A wall built right the first time does not need us back in five years.
