Guttering and roofline work done properly

Gutters first. That is where we start, and it is where most problems begin. We are based in Swords, County Dublin, and we carry out guttering installation, repair, and full roofline work across north Dublin and the surrounding areas.

Materials and systems we use

We work with uPVC, aluminium seamless runs, and cast iron where a period property calls for it. Half-round, ogee, and square-line profiles are all systems we fit and repair daily. Brackets, fixings, hopper heads, downpipes, soakaway connections, leaf guards, rainwater diverters, the lot.

Fascia and soffit work

Gutters only perform well when the fascia behind them is sound. We replace uPVC fascia and soffit boards as part of many of our jobs, and we also carry out repair and re-boarding where a full replacement is not needed. The gutter bracket spacing is set to give the correct fall for drainage, typically a 1:600 fall ratio to the outlet.

Blocked.

That single word describes most of the call-outs we attend. It is usually straightforward to clear, but the underlying cause matters more. North Dublin gets its share of rainfall, and anyone who has seen the Tolka running high in winter knows what that kind of sustained downpour does to blocked or poorly-fitted guttering.
