What We Do

Our work covers everything on the roofline, from new gutter runs and downpipe replacements to soffit and fascia boarding. We fit seamless aluminium gutters, uPVC half-round and ogee profiles, and we still take on cast iron restoration where the original ironwork is worth keeping.

How We Work

One thing I pay close attention to is bracket spacing and fall. A gutter sitting at the wrong pitch will pool water and cause problems fast, so we always re-space or reset brackets properly rather than just patching around the issue.

On a lot of newer installations we use a concealed gutter bracket fixing system, which keeps the outer face of the fascia clean and avoids the screw-head corrosion you get with exposed fixings over time. It makes a real difference to how the finished job looks and holds up.

We have done work on properties close to Clontarf GAA club’s end of the coast road, and we know (better than most, honestly) how salt air accelerates wear on brackets, joints and fascia boards up here on the north Dublin shoreline.

How Long Does a Gutter Replacement Take?

Q: How long does a full gutter replacement usually take on a semi-detached house?

A: For a standard semi-detached, most full replacements are done within a single day. A terraced house or larger detached property may run to two days depending on access and the condition of the existing fascia boards underneath.
