Materials we trust

We work with porcelain, sandstone, block paving, concrete flags. Good drainage starts with the right sub-base. We have used Donegal quartzite on high-traffic areas before. Tough stuff. It earns its keep.

(We once quoted a job in Liscannor flagstone for a customer who changed their mind three times, but we got there in the end.)

We turn up when we say. We leave the site tidy. We do not disappear after the deposit.

A bit about us

We are not the biggest outfit in Essex, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we do know is groundwork. Levels, falls, drainage, bedding. We have been getting our hands dirty on patios and garden projects long enough to spot a bad base before we have even put a spade in.

One thing we always check early is drainage falls. A flat patio looks grand on day one. By January it is a paddling pool. We plan for the weather here, not some sunnier postcode.
