Canvey Island Patios

Canvey Island Patios

Who we are

: Based on Canvey Island, Essex. That’s where we work, where we live, and where we’ve been laying patios and sorting out gardens for years. We know the ground conditions here, the clay-heavy soil, the drainage headaches, the tight plots. We come to jobs prepared.

What we actually do

We cover everything from a new patio laid in porcelain or Indian sandstone right through to full garden makeovers. Materials we regularly work with:

  • Porcelain tiles, calibrated and full-bodied
  • Indian sandstone, sawn or riven face
  • Concrete flagstones for straightforward, durable finishes
  • Block paving for paths and driveways leading into the garden
  • Artificial grass and roll-on turf for low-maintenance lawns
  • Timber fencing and garden walling

The practical side

: One thing that catches people out is rear-access. We deal with terraced rear-access constraints regularly. Materials need to be barrowed through a side gate or carried down a passage. Is that a problem for us? Not even slightly. We plan for it, quote for it, and get on with it.

Canvey Island plots vary quite a bit. Some gardens are long and level. Others slope, drain badly, or back onto older boundary walls that need working around. We’ve seen most of it, and we don’t fanny about when something unexpected comes up on site.

Fencing and walling

We fit new timber fencing and build garden walls to tie the whole space together. A new patio sits better when the boundaries are sorted too. We can price both together if that’s what the job needs.

Lawns

: We lay artificial grass and real turf. If you’re in a postcode like SS8 and your lawn is a mud patch for half the year, a proper installation makes a genuine difference to how the garden works day to day.
