What we do

From the ground up, that is genuinely how every job starts with us. We lay patios, paths, and garden paving across Halstead, Essex and the surrounding area. Before a single slab goes down, we dig out, build up the sub-base, and compact in layers. Get that wrong and nothing sits right long term.

We are comfortable across the full range of paving materials. Every one handles differently underfoot and behaves differently in an Essex winter.

More than just paving

Patios are rarely the whole picture. Most customers want the garden sorted properly, not just a square of slabs dropped in. We also handle fencing installations (close-board is the one we fit most often around here), garden walling, roll-on turf lawns, and artificial grass. Tidy edges matter.

How we work

We collect materials from Jewson on Trinity Street in Halstead, so lead times are straightforward on most jobs. We do not cut corners on drainage falls. Every patio needs to shed water away from the house. That is not optional, however attractive the finished surface looks.

Short sentences work here. Ground conditions vary. Clay soil is common. We account for it. Compaction in layers is non-negotiable.
