Picton Roofers
Cheshire roofs take a battering in winter.
I’ve been fixing and fitting roofs across this part of the county long enough to know what the weather does to a poorly maintained roof. Around Tattenhall, Waverton, and out towards Christleton, we see the same problems come up time and again. Slipped slates, failed flashings, gutters pulling away from the fascia board.
We cover the full picture when it comes to roofing work.
- Roof repairs, including leak tracing and slipped or broken slates
- Fitting new roofs and flat roofs, using quality materials suited to Cheshire conditions
- Chimney repairs and ridge tiling
- Guttering, fascia, and soffits
- Flat roofing in EPDM and felt systems
But the job I get asked about most is flat roofing. It looks straightforward. It rarely is. A flat roof that hasn’t been laid right will let water sit, and sitting water will always find a way through eventually. We take the time to get the falls right and the detailing tight at every edge.
Leaks are the other one. People sometimes put off a repair because the drip seems minor. A small leak that gets left alone through a Cheshire winter can open up fast. We’d always rather come out and look than have someone ring us back three months later with a bigger job.
We work cleanly, we turn up when we say we will, and we don’t leave a site in a state. That probably sounds like the bare minimum, and honestly it should be.
