Patio Surfacing Options

When customers come to us, they often don’t realise how many surfacing choices are actually out there. We work with all of the following.

Porcelain is the one we’d recommend nine times out of ten for Irish conditions. It doesn’t absorb water, so it won’t crack when the frost comes. That matters in a Dublin winter, honestly more than most people think when they’re picking materials in August.

Renovations and New Builds

When a renovation comes in, we assess what’s there first. Sometimes the base is salvageable. Often it isn’t. We’re straightforward about that with customers rather than telling them what they want to hear.

When it comes to new builds, we work closely with whoever is using the garden day to day. A family with kids needs different surfacing priorities than a couple who want low maintenance. We tailor accordingly.
