Beyond the driveway

Patios, pathways, kerbing, edging. We handle those too, using the same materials and the same approach we’d bring to any driveway job. A well-laid patio uses a correctly prepared sub-base, adequate falls for surface water runoff, and edge restraints bedded to resist frost heave over time.

This comes up more than people expect. Planning rules in many areas now require permeable surfaces on front drives, and we’ve installed permeable paving driveways specifically for SuDS compliance on a number of local properties. It’s not complicated once you know what you’re doing, and it can save a homeowner a planning headache before it starts.

Repairs and resurfacing

Not every job needs a full replacement. Pothole repairs, crack filling, resealing a surface that’s lost its finish. We assess what’s actually needed, we don’t upsell work that isn’t required.
