Cork Builders has been putting up walls, laying foundations, and working through structural jobs across Cork City for years. Loft conversions are something we get asked about constantly. We have done a lot of them in terraced and semi-detached houses around Cork City, and the structural side requires careful planning. We assess load-bearing walls, specify steel beams where needed, and make sure the floor joists are properly upgraded to current building regs before a single board goes down.

Our work on the ground

However, the bulk of our work tends to be larger residential projects where a family needs more space and wants it done properly, with no shortcuts on the structural or weatherproofing side.
