Patios Rathcoole

What We Do

From the ground up, that is genuinely how we approach every job. We lay patios, build garden walls, install fencing and put down everything from Indian sandstone to porcelain paving. Based in Rathcoole, we cover the surrounding area and we know the ground conditions here well.

The Materials We Work With

We are particular about what we specify. A lot of what we source comes through local suppliers, and we know the yard at South Dublin County Council’s Rathcoole depot well enough to plan materials runs around it. What we typically work with:

• Indian sandstone paving
• Porcelain slabs
• Granite and limestone flags
• Concrete kerbing and edging
• Natural and artificial grass
• Timber fencing panels and posts

How We Actually Build

The base is everything. We compact in layers, full stop. A lot of failed patios we are asked to fix come back to the same problem, somebody skipped the sub-base or rushed the compaction. We do not do that. Sharp sand, type 1 MOT, proper depths, each layer compacted before the next one goes down.

New or old. We handle both.

We renovate existing garden spaces as often as we build from scratch. Broken slabs, sunken flags, drainage issues running back years (sometimes decades, honestly). We assess it, price it straight, and fix it properly.

Other Work We Cover

Turfing is a regular part of what we do. So is bricklaying for raised beds and boundary walls. Wooden fencing is something we fit on nearly every second job, because most customers want the full garden sorted in one go rather than coming back to it.
