What We Do

We have been working with natural and engineered stone long enough to know what performs and what does not. Liscannor flagstone, for example, handles moisture well, it is a material that rewards the right bed preparation underneath it.

How We Work

New builds and older gardens that need reworking, we take on both. A lot of what we do in Phibsborough and the surrounding postcodes is renovation work on patios that were originally laid without proper drainage falls. Correct sub-base compaction and a minimum 1-in-60 fall to a drainage outlet makes the difference between a patio that lasts and one that floods every winter.

We are straightforward about timelines and material costs before anything starts. No surprises halfway through.

Materials

The stone you choose affects the finished look more than anything else. We work with Indian sandstone, porcelain, Wicklow granite, and porcelain paving depending on what suits the garden and the budget. Each material has its own fixing requirements and we treat them differently on site.

Artificial grass is also something we install properly, with the right compacted base and membrane, not just rolled out on bare soil.
