A bit about how we work

A customer once pointed out our van parked near St Nicholas Church and just waved.

That kind of recognition means something to me. We’ve been laying patios across Great Wakering and the surrounding SS3 postcodes long enough that people know the work we do before we’ve even knocked on the door (which, honestly, saves a lot of explaining).

What we actually do

We cover a fair range of outdoor work, and I’d rather be straight with you about that than dress it up.

How we approach the work

One thing I’ve started doing more of lately is integrating low-voltage lighting directly into step risers during the build, rather than as an afterthought. It makes a real difference to how a garden feels once the sun goes down, and it costs far less to do it right during the installation than to go back in later.

Essex soil near the coast can be awkward, and I won’t pretend every job is straightforward. Drainage matters more here than most contractors let on, so we take that seriously from day one.

We work with natural stone, porcelain, block paving, and concrete flags, and we’ll tell you honestly which material suits your ground conditions, your budget, and how you actually use your garden.
