How we approach the work

Fixing leaks on roofs is probably the call we get most often, and honestly it suits us (leak diagnosis is where experience really earns its keep). We start by identifying exactly where the water is entering, not just where it’s showing up inside. A damp patch on a ceiling can be travelling from a point two metres up the slope.

We use materials that are suited to the job and the roof type. That means proper lead flashing where it’s called for, not butyl tape pressed over a crack and hoped for the best. Concrete and clay ridge tiles are matched to what’s already on the roof wherever possible.
